Nova Gulet is a 19-metre traditional ketch for private cruises from Demre around Kekova and the nearby coast. Built in 2007, she accommodates up to 12 guests in six double cabins, with a three-person crew. Spend your days between the cushioned deck seating, swimming stops and time on the SUP board or canoe. Her sails are operational and may be used when conditions allow, at the captain’s discretion. Nova offers a simple, traditional gulet experience without air conditioning or onboard Wi-Fi.

Onboard Activities & Amenities

Relax on the sun beds or in the shaded deck seating, gather around the outdoor dining table, or spend time in the indoor saloon. A SUP board, canoe, snorkelling masks and fishing equipment are available for suitable conditions. Onboard entertainment includes a TV, CD/MP3 player, backgammon, playing cards and Rummikub. The galley has a fridge, freezer, oven, coffee machine, kettle and ice maker, with a barbecue also on board. Nova has working sails; their use depends on the weather, sea conditions and the captain’s assessment.

  • Optional crew gratuities. A tip of 7% of the charter price is suggested but is not mandatory.

Food and drinks: You are welcome to bring your own supplies. Alternatively, we can arrange the shopping on your behalf. The purchase cost is charged separately, with the receipts provided and payment collected on the day your charter begins. Please discuss your shopping preferences with us in advance.

Charter dates and duration: Standard online bookings are for a fixed 6-night charter departing on Saturdays, during the season from 1 May to 15 October. For shorter or longer stays, other departure days or dates outside this period, please contact us. Options depend on the season and availability.

Departure arrangements: Demre is the usual departure area. Your exact meeting point and boarding and departure times are shared with your booking confirmation, according to the agreed embarkation port. Other ports must be arranged in advance.

Onboard comfort: Nova does not have air conditioning or onboard Wi-Fi. Hot water is available. Please bring your own beach towels.

Sailing and water activities: The sails are operational, and a SUP board and canoe are available. Sailing and the use of water equipment depend on suitable conditions and the captain’s assessment. Sailing under wind power is not guaranteed each day.

Route flexibility and requests: The captain may adjust the itinerary according to weather, sea conditions and safety considerations. Discuss different routes, alternative ports and special requests before booking so we can confirm the options and explain any additional costs.
