Before You Book
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I reach Olympos, Turkey?
You can fly into either Antalya or Dalaman Airport. Antalya Airport is approximately two hours from Olympos by transfer, while the journey from Dalaman Airport takes around three and a half hours. Both airports are convenient options depending on your travel plans. You can also arrange a private transfer directly from Antalya Airport to Olympos or from Dalaman Airport to Demre. This is the fastest and most comfortable way to reach your destination. To travel from Antalya to Olympos by public bus, take a taxi from Antalya Airport to the central bus station, known as the Otogar. The taxi ride costs around 5 euros. At the Otogar, look for buses heading to Olympos. You usually do not need to purchase a ticket in advance, as the driver collects the fare on board. The bus journey takes approximately two and a half hours, including stops, and costs around 2 euros per person. To travel from Dalaman to Olympos by public transport, take a short taxi ride from Dalaman Airport to the Dalaman bus station, which costs approximately 3 euros. From there, take a bus to Fethiye and then transfer to another bus heading to Olympos. Keep in mind that Dalaman Airport is smaller and has fewer daily flights, so it is best to plan accordingly.
Where does this cruise begin and end?
This cruise begins in Olympos / Demre and finishes in Fethiye. Please check the departure schedule and final travel documents for meeting and disembarkation details.
How does cabin sharing work?
Private single occupancy is not offered on this 3-night program. Solo guests should expect a shared-cabin arrangement according to the operator’s allocation policy.
Can I upgrade to a better cabin?
This trip includes accommodation in shared cabins. If available, you can upgrade to a private twin, double, or triple cabin with an ensuite bathroom.
Is it possible to change my departure date?
Yes, it is possible to change your departure date based on availability. A minor fee will be charged, and if the new date has a higher cost, you’ll need to cover the difference. Alternatively, you can transfer the amount you’ve already paid to another trip of equal or greater value, as long as it’s outside the notification period.
What type of boats are used for these sailing trips?
All of our boats are traditional gulet yachts, handcrafted in Southern Turkey. These two or three-masted sailing yachts are fully equipped with ensuite cabins, a professional kitchen, dining spaces, and deck mattresses for those who wish to sleep under the stars.
Will there be enough space for my luggage?
For your comfort and ease of movement inside the cabin, we suggest bringing a small or medium-sized suitcase or backpack.
Can I bring my own drinks on board?
Personal alcoholic and soft drinks are not permitted on board. Drinks can be purchased from the onboard bar and are not included in the cruise price.
What meals are included?
The cruise is full board and includes breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea or coffee with cookies, and dinner. Please tell us about dietary requirements before departure.
Can I bring my own snacks and beverages on the boat?
Unfortunately, bringing your own drinks (including water) on board is not permitted. However, you’re welcome to bring snacks like peanuts, chips, cookies, and similar items.
Can I settle my bar bill using a credit card?
Please note that bar expenses must be paid in cash on the last day of the trip. Since ATMs may not be available at all ports, it’s a good idea to plan ahead. However, there’s no need to worry about withdrawing cash before the trip, as ATMs will be accessible in Kas Port town on the second day of the journey.
Are there power sockets available on the boat?
Some boats are equipped with power sockets in the cabins, while others have them only in the common salon area. These sockets are functional when the engine or generator is running.
Are towels provided?
Bed linen and bath towels are supplied. Beach towels are not provided, so please bring your own.
How long does the air conditioning operate?
Air conditioning normally operates for up to 6 hours per day. Exact operating times are set by the captain according to conditions and the vessel’s systems.
