What to Expect on This Experience

Day 1

Fethiye & Boncuklu Bay

Your journey begins with check-in at 15:00 at our meeting point in Fethiye Marina. Once everyone is onboard, meet your fellow travellers and crew before departure at approximately 16:00. We cruise towards Boncuklu Bay for the first swim of the week and a relaxed introduction to life at sea. Dinner is served onboard as the group settles in for the journey ahead. If flight or traffic delays affect the departure, the gulet may remain in Fethiye Marina for the first night, giving guests time to explore the town’s bars, cafés and waterfront.

Day 2

Butterfly Valley, Ölüdeniz & St Nicholas Island

After breakfast, we cruise towards Butterfly Valley, weather permitting. Swim beneath the dramatic cliffs, relax by the water or explore part of the valley on foot. We then continue towards Ölüdeniz and its famous Blue Lagoon, where guests looking for an adrenaline rush can join an optional paragliding experience from Babadağ Mountain. In the afternoon, we sail to St Nicholas Island, where you can explore Byzantine ruins and enjoy one of the best sunset viewpoints along the coast. Dinner is served onboard, followed by a relaxed evening with the group.

Day 3

Fırnaz Bay, Kaş & Limanağzı Bay

We sail early towards Fırnaz Bay for breakfast and a refreshing morning swim. After enjoying the bay, we continue to Hidayet Bay for lunch before heading into Kaş. You will have approximately two to three hours of free time to explore the harbour, cafés, shops, bars and historic streets of this popular coastal town. In the late afternoon, we return to the gulet and cruise to Limanağzı Bay, where we anchor for dinner and the night.

Day 4

Kekova, Simena & Gökkaya Bay

After breakfast, we cruise into the Kekova region and pass the famous Sunken City, where ancient remains can be seen beneath the clear water from the deck. Guests can also join an optional sea-kayaking experience for a closer look at the coastline. We later visit Simena, where you can wander through the village and hike up to the castle for panoramic views across Kekova. In the evening, we anchor at Gökkaya Bay. After dinner, guests looking for a livelier night can optionally head to Smugglers Inn for music, drinks and dancing.

Day 5

Demre, Turtle Beach & Kocakarı Bay

After breakfast and a morning swim, we cruise towards Demre. Guests can join an optional excursion to Myra and St Nicholas Church before returning to the gulet. We then continue to Turtle Beach in the Andriake area, where Caretta Caretta sea turtles may sometimes be spotted around the boat. Lunch is served onboard before another swim at Aquarium Bay and afternoon tea. Later, we anchor at peaceful Kocakarı Bay for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 6

Bayındır Bay & Kalkan

Enjoy a relaxed breakfast before cruising to Bayındır Bay for swimming and time on deck. After lunch, we continue towards Kalkan, where guests can explore the harbour, shops and cafés or simply enjoy some free time with the group. Depending on weather and sea conditions, the gulet anchors either near Kalkan or in a nearby sheltered bay for the evening.

Day 7

Aquarium Bay, Kızılada & Samanlık Bay

Your final full day at sea begins at Aquarium Bay with clear water, swimming and breakfast onboard. We then continue towards Kızılada for sunbathing, swimming and your last lunch of the cruise. In the afternoon, we head to Samanlık Bay for a farewell dinner and final evening together onboard. When necessary, the gulet may return to Fethiye Harbour earlier for guests with early travel arrangements.

Day 8

Fethiye

Enjoy breakfast onboard before returning to Fethiye Harbour. After a week of swimming, exploring and travelling along the Lycian coast with your group, disembarkation takes place at approximately 09:00.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I reach Fethiye, Turkey?

To reach Fethiye, you can fly into either Antalya Airport or Dalaman Airport. The transfer from Antalya takes approximately three hours, while the journey from Dalaman usually takes around one and a half hours. For a more comfortable and convenient journey, you can arrange a private transfer directly from either airport to Fethiye. To travel from Antalya by public transport, take a taxi from the airport to the main bus station, known as the Otogar, for approximately 5 euros. From there, take a bus to Kas and then transfer to another bus heading to Fethiye. Tickets are often sold directly on the bus by the driver, and the fare is around 6 euros per person. The bus journey from Antalya to Kas may take between three and a half and four hours due to stops, followed by another journey of approximately two hours to Fethiye. From Dalaman Airport, take a taxi to Dalaman Bus Station for around 3 euros, then continue to Fethiye by bus. The journey takes approximately two hours. Keep in mind that Dalaman Airport is relatively small and has fewer daily flights.

What meals are included?

Can I bring my own snacks and beverages on the boat?

Unfortunately, bringing your own drinks (including water) on board is not permitted. However, you’re welcome to bring snacks like peanuts, chips, cookies, and similar items.

Can I settle my bar bill using a credit card?

Please note that bar expenses must be paid in cash on the last day of the trip. Since ATMs may not be available at all ports, it’s a good idea to plan ahead. However, there’s no need to worry about withdrawing cash before the trip, as ATMs will be accessible in Kas Port town on the second day of the journey.

Are there power sockets available on the boat?

Some boats are equipped with power sockets in the cabins, while others have them only in the common salon area. These sockets are functional when the engine or generator is running.

Are towels provided?

Bed linen and bath towels are supplied. Beach towels are not provided, so please bring your own.

How long does the air conditioning operate?

Air conditioning normally operates for up to 6 hours per day. Exact operating times are set by the captain according to conditions and the vessel’s systems.
