What to Expect on This Experience
Bodrum to Kargicak Bay
Boarding begins at 15:00 at Bodrum Harbor, where you will meet the crew, settle into your cabin and get familiar with the gulet. Departure is scheduled by 18:00, cruising towards peaceful Kargicak Bay for the first swim and evening at anchor. Dinner is served onboard as you settle into the rhythm of the cruise. Guests arriving after departure must arrange their own land transfer to Kargicak Bay, where they can join the yacht by dinghy. An optional Bodrum city tour or onboard massage may also be available.
Orak Island and Cokertme
After breakfast onboard, we cruise towards Orak Island, known for its remarkably clear turquoise water. Spend time swimming, snorkeling and relaxing in the bay before enjoying lunch onboard. In the afternoon, the gulet continues to Cokertme, a small coastal village surrounded by peaceful Aegean scenery. You can take a walk along the shoreline or simply relax on deck before dinner and an overnight stay in the bay. An optional village excursion may also be available during the afternoon.
Tuzla Bay and Ayinda Bay
The gulet cruises deeper into the Gulf of Gokova towards Tuzla Bay, where turquoise water and green hills create a peaceful setting for a long swimming break. Lunch is served onboard while anchored in the bay, leaving plenty of time to enjoy the sea and relax on deck. Later in the afternoon, we continue towards Ayinda Bay, a quiet natural anchorage away from busy coastal towns. Dinner is served onboard, followed by a relaxed overnight stay surrounded by nature. Karacasogut and Cleopatra Island
In the morning, we cruise to Karacasogut, an accessible point in the Gulf of Gokova used for provisioning and guest logistics. Afterwards, the journey continues to Cleopatra Island, also known as Sedir Island, famous for its unusual golden sand and the ancient ruins of Kedrai. Guests can explore remains including the Greco-Roman theatre, city walls and Temple of Apollo before returning to the gulet. Dinner and the overnight stay are spent anchored near the island. Optional Dalyan and Caunos excursions may also be available.
English Harbour and Longoz Bay
Enjoy breakfast and a morning swim near Cleopatra Island before cruising towards English Harbour, a sheltered bay historically associated with British submarines during World War II. Lunch is served onboard among the pine-covered surroundings. Depending on weather and timing, the gulet may also stop at Ballisu Bay for another swim. Later in the afternoon, we continue to Longoz Bay, where dense pine forests reach almost to the water. Spend the evening relaxing on deck or exploring the nearby shoreline before dinner and an overnight stay.
Kissebuku and Poyraz Bay
The day begins with a cruise to Kissebuku, where clear water and ancient Byzantine remains along the coast make for an interesting combination of swimming and history. After time in the bay, lunch is served onboard before continuing towards Poyraz Bay on Black Island, close to Bodrum. As the daily excursion boats leave in the afternoon, the bay becomes much quieter. This peaceful anchorage is where we enjoy dinner and spend the final night of the cruise onboard.
Poyraz Bay to Bodrum
Wake up in the calm surroundings of Poyraz Bay for the final morning onboard. After breakfast, there is time for one last swim in the clear Aegean water before the gulet begins the short journey back towards Bodrum. We arrive at Bodrum Harbor for disembarkation by approximately 12:00, bringing the 6-night Gulf of Gokova cruise to an end.

Our Gulet Fleet
Cabin cruises operate aboard traditional Turkish gulets from our trusted partner fleet, including vessels such as Norwyn. Each gulet has its own character, but all are selected for comfortable shared spaces, shaded dining and generous outdoor decks.

Cabins On Board
Expect a compact, practical ensuite cabin designed for a comfortable week at sea. Double and twin layouts are allocated according to availability, with clean linen, storage and a private bathroom in every cabin.

Freshly Prepared Meals On Board
Meals are prepared in the onboard galley and served family-style around the shared table. On a standard 7-night cruise, the plan normally includes 7 breakfasts, 6 lunches, 6 afternoon teas and 7 dinners, with water served during meals.

The journey usually takes between three and three and a half hours, depending on the number of stops. From Milas–Bodrum Airport, HAVAŞ and MUTTAŞ airport shuttles operate to Bodrum Bus Station, with a journey time of approximately 45 to 60 minutes. Taxis and shared minibuses are also available. From Dalaman Airport, take a taxi or shuttle to the Dalaman or Ortaca bus station and then continue to Bodrum by intercity bus. The total journey usually takes around three hours.
Where does the journey begin and end?
The journey begins at Fethiye Harbour in Fethiye, Turkey, at 10:30 AM. The tour concludes at the same location, Fethiye Harbour, between 1:30 PM and 2:00 PM.
What are the cabin arrangements like?
Couples are assigned their own private cabins. For solo travelers, cabin arrangements may vary, and you could be placed in a twin, double, triple, or quad cabin, depending on the group composition. If you’re booking as a couple, please make sure to mention this in the notes section during your reservation.
Can I upgrade to a better cabin?
This trip includes accommodation in shared cabins. If available, you can upgrade to a private twin, double, or triple cabin with an ensuite bathroom.
Is it possible to change my departure date?
Yes, it is possible to change your departure date based on availability. A minor fee will be charged, and if the new date has a higher cost, you’ll need to cover the difference. Alternatively, you can transfer the amount you’ve already paid to another trip of equal or greater value, as long as it’s outside the notification period.
What type of boats are used for the sailing trips?
All of our boats are traditional gulet yachts, handcrafted in Southern Turkey. These two or three-masted sailing yachts are fully equipped with ensuite cabins, a professional kitchen, dining spaces, and deck mattresses for those who wish to sleep under the stars.
Will there be enough space for my luggage?
For your comfort and ease of movement inside the cabin, we suggest bringing a small or medium-sized suitcase or backpack.
Am I allowed to bring my own alcohol on board?
Boat licensing regulations prohibit bringing your own alcohol on board. However, reasonably priced drinks can be purchased on the boat using a tab system, which must be settled on the day of check-out.
What meals are included during the trip?
All of our gulet cruises include a traditional Turkish breakfast, a vegetarian lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner as part of the package. Upon request, we can accommodate Jain, Vegetarian, Vegan, Halal, and Kosher dietary preferences. You’re welcome to bring additional snacks for the trip. Drinks are available for purchase on board using a tab system, which is payable on the day of disembarkation.
Can I bring my own snacks and beverages on the boat?
Unfortunately, bringing your own drinks (including water) on board is not permitted. However, you’re welcome to bring snacks like peanuts, chips, cookies, and similar items.
Can I settle my bar bill using a credit card?
Please note that bar expenses must be paid in cash on the last day of the trip. Since ATMs may not be available at all ports, it’s a good idea to plan ahead. However, there’s no need to worry about withdrawing cash before the trip, as ATMs will be accessible in Kas Port town on the second day of the journey.
Are there power sockets available on the boat?
Some boats are equipped with power sockets in the cabins, while others have them only in the common salon area. These sockets are functional when the engine or generator is running.
Will towels be provided on board?
Beach towels are not supplied on board, so we kindly ask guests to bring their own for beach use. Bath towels are available but are not intended for use at the beach. If needed, towels can be easily purchased from shops in towns across Turkey.
Are there any limits on air conditioning use?
Gulet boats have limited energy capacity, so air conditioning is typically used for 4-6 hours daily to conserve fuel and maintain efficiency. This also helps protect the generator and supports eco-friendly practices by encouraging natural ventilation. Running the generator overnight can be noisy and may disturb other guests, so finding a balance between comfort and sustainability is essential.
