WE ARE MEETING UP FOR AN ADVENTURE
We start the day by meeting at our gathering point at 9:30 a.m. and then continue by traversing the serene and natural path of Üçağız Harbor, the port of the Kekova region. You can settle onto the boat and enjoy the journey.
AQUARIUM BAY
Aquarium Cove is our first swimming and relaxation stop in the Kekova region. In this cove, you can even see the underwater without entering the sea thanks to its crystal-clear waters. We will have a 40-minute swimming break and tea break here. Tea is on us.
KEKOVA ISLAND & SUNKEN CITY
Uncover the captivating mysteries of Kekova's past during this unparalleled journey around the Sunken City. Dating back to the 2nd century, the ancient city of Dolchiste succumbed to an earthquake, submerging its ruins underwater, a spectacle that never fails to awe. As this area is under protection, swimming is prohibited, offering a unique opportunity to explore the site aboard our boat equipped with a glass-bottom window, allowing you to capture indelible photographs while cruising alongside the remnants.
GOKKAYA BAY & PIRATES CAVE
We will take a swimming break and Lunch in Gökkaya Bay, where you can experience the natural beauty of the area and choose to participate in one of the various exciting water sports on offer. Additionally, you will explore the Pirate Cave, famous for its large size and curved entrance, in this bay.
BURC BAY
Following lunch, we'll have a 40-45 minute swim break at Burç Bay. The water in this area is slightly cooler, thanks to the cold underwater natural springs.
KALEKOY-SIMENA CASTLE
Entrance fee: 4 euros (or free with Museum Pass Turkey or Mediterranean Museum Pass)
Our vessel will come to a stop at Kaleköy port, also known as ancient Simena, for approximately one hour, allowing you ample time to explore this quaint, authentic village. Here, you'll encounter the remnants of a castle and a necropolis, offering a glimpse into its rich history. For panoramic views of the Kekova region, a hike up the hillside is highly recommended. Alternatively, if you'd rather admire Simena Castle from below, you can opt to spend your remaining time indulging in another swim in the stunning blue waters.
HAMIDIYE BAY
Our final destination, Hamidiye Cove, will greet you with its rich history. After anchoring at this last stop in Kekova, we'll head back to our starting point, Üçağız Harbor.
THE END
The journey back to Kaş from Üçağız Harbor begins, accompanied by sweet memories of the day. You will be dropped off at your hotel or the pickup point.
